Ruby Box – Beauty Night Out

Ruby Box held their Beauty Night Out Birthday Edition on 29th August at The Baltic, V&A Waterfront. The evening of glitz, glamour and pampering was enjoyed by about 300 ladies in Cape Town.

On arrival, the ladies were welcomed with drinks while waiters walked around serving delicious canapés. Besties could take selfies at the Ruby Box banner.  Sylvia and Margaux from Ruby Box thanked the rubies for their support and handed out lucky draw prizes from the various sponsors. A’Nish Life sponsored beautiful pieces of Miglio Designer Jewellery for the lucky draws as well.

The Ruby Box build-a-box station was a treat, so many choices of wonderful beauty products to choose. and the staff were on hand to assist with building your very own beauty box.The pop up shop was convenient for beauty buys and must haves.

Stila offered makeovers, matching your skin to the perfect foundation, Accentuating eyes, cheeks and lips. Providing expert tips on makeup and each lady received a Stila lip glaze in strawberry lemonade.

Mangwanani treated the ladies to head, neck and shoulder massages.  You felt like all the tension and knots were melting away as they worked their magical hands over you. I am sure that the ladies felt so relaxed that they did not want to move from that spot after the wonderful massage,as I also experienced.

Sally Hansen’s mini manicures were a hit as the ladies lined up to have their nails buffed and painted. There was an array of awesome colors to choose from.  I did not get to have my nails done as I had already had them done but had a chance to chat to some of the rubies who were enjoying the treat.

Dermalogica provided face mapping for the ladies

Dermalogica offered face mapping sessions were one could have their skin assessed. Skin concerns were addressed and you were advised on the best product to use for that specific condition.
